Silverwood Productions, Inc. is a full-service film and video production company established in 1988 with offices in Northern and Southern California and now on the East Coast. Silverwood's clientele range from such diverse nationwide industries as sports, automotive, banking, healthcare, telecommunications, food and beverage, just to name a few.

Art Wilder
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Art attended college in Southern California. In the mid 70's having graduated from San Diego State with a BS in biology and Brooks School of Photography, Santa Barbara with a BA in cinematography; Art relocated to Utah to pursue his dream of shooting ski films. Upon his arrival in Salt Lake, he was hired by TeleScene, Inc. which was the premier film company in the Intermountain West. Hired initially as an editor; Art worked his way up to director/cameraman within a short time. Besides shooting skiing, Art & TeleScene also shot over 1,000 commercials and corporate films for local, regional and national clients.

In 1985, Art left TeleScene, Inc. to move back to Northern California and start his own company---Silverwood Productions, Inc. to continue producing, directing and shooting. While continuing to shoot for his loyal Salt Lake clients, Art and Silverwood grew in the San Francisco market to shoot automotive running footage packages, a 10 part TV series, 3 independent feature films, numerous corporate videos and over 1,500 commercials. Though starting with a strong background in film, Art has now heartily embraced video and it's evolving formats--from standard def to HD to 4K.

Kelly Schwarz is Silverwood's chief editor and corporate video producer based in San Diego, California.
After graduating from San Diego State with a BA in Media Management and minor in Business Marketing; Kelly began her career in video production as a script supervisor and production assistant on several national television spots and independent films. Soon she was hired as a full-time media editor at CDF Media; a web design and interactive media company in San Diego. There she took on the role of producer, editor and audio engineer and became an expert in the integration of video and the web. From there she was hired on as an in house, one woman production department for the American Council on Exercise. She scripted, produced, shot and edited numerous training videos and exercise DVDs. At ACE she gained a great deal of experience in corporate video, which she took on to her next job as Video Project Manager for Jack in the Box, Inc. Here she learned to edit both English and Spanish versions of all videos.

After several years of working in the corporate world, Kelly decided to become a part of the Silverwood team so she could utilize her expertise in video and web integration and her highly technical post production skills. Production projects include streaming web videos, commercials, corporate training videos, video news releases for clients such as Jack in the Box, Inc, American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Council on Exercise, SkinMedica, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the National Sports Forum to name a few.

With over 15 years of video and audio editing experience under her belt and an extensive background in production and web development; Kelly has gained a comfortable working knowledge of Avid Media Composer, Final Cut, After Effects, Flash, DVD Studio Pro and Photoshop. And, although her specialty is in post-production, she also is able to wear the many hats of producing, scripting, shooting, casting and crew wrangling required on a shoot.

Wendy Steele Wendy Steele is Silverwood's East Coast producer based in Baltimore, MD.

With a diverse background in TV, film, sports production, client conceptualization, production, and product management; Wendy has all the tools to bring a client's best ideas to complete expression through the motion media process. She has the unique ability to connect with her clients on a very real level.

Being that production is in her blood, Wendy got a Telecommunications and Film degree from San Diego State University. Wendy began her career working on the sidelines for ESPN and ABC Sports, until she landed the producer role at San Diego's premiere production company, Four Square Productions. At Four Square, Wendy primarily worked on the DIRECTV Sports This Week show for 6 years, while traveling the globe to every major sports event and working with A-List celebrities and many clients beyond the sports domain.

Production projects include commercials, trade show videos, award videos, and video news releases for MediaFLO, Qualcomm, Cox, U.S. Open, American Council of Exercise, Computer Science Corporation, and Hot Springs Spas to name a few clients.

Upon leaving Four Square, Wendy moved over to the agency side of the business and helped grow a start-up advertising/marketing agency: Jayne Hancock Group from one employee to 50. Her responsibilities shifted from business development to building and controlling the entire Motion Media Department. Wendy's Executive Producer role allowed for the merging and creativity of new technology and all things motion flourish to a profitable service to both the agency and clients. For Wendy’s tenure at JHG Agency, helped her lead clients to be on the forefront of all cutting edge technologies and integrated marketing solutions.

In her most recent years, Wendy has returned to her passion---production. Current projects include Army, Navy, Lockheed-Martin, Iomega, Downtown Baltimore and most recently, independent features.
Wendy continues to apply her understanding of communication, planning and coordinating abilities to ensure the success of each project. It's no wonder she carries her award-winning producing throughout all facets of her day-to-day life.
